Maayke's Shelving Unit

Maayke created an impressive shelving unit from MDF Black V313. She designed and ordered this unit herself through our custom configurator. As you can see, she tailored it exactly to her needs. With a beautiful mix of open and closed compartments, there is plenty of space for storage. Display pieces can go in the open sections, while items you don't want on display can be hidden behind doors. These doors feature a push-to-open system, so no handles are needed. The unit stays sleek!

Making a Shelving Unit from MDF Black

Maayke's shelving unit is made from MDF Black V313. This is a moisture-resistant variant of MDF that is black all the way through. You can still see the wood fibers here and there, giving the material a textured appearance. For a durable finish, it is important to seal the MDF. You can do this with a clear varnish to maintain its appearance.
