A TOSIZE Furniture shelving unit with the appearance of a cinewall. By placing the boxes above and below the TV at a depth of 0 cm, you create the effect of a cine wall, without having to build an actual wall! Instead of the TV, there is now a painting in it, but the effect is certainly there. By also using compartments with doors, the cinewall effect is retained, but storage space is also created.

How I made this project

I first made the design in the handy 3D configurator. During the ordering process I then indicated in the comments that I wanted the depth for the TV compartment to be 15 cm and the depth of the compartments above and below to be 0 cm. When I was assembling it, I was a bit confused because I assumed that the holes for the back wall had to be at the back, but I had thought of them at the front myself! So pay close attention. Started leveling the bottom beams. This is very important because the cupboard is large: 300 cm wide. Then I could start building. For the large parts (at the very top) it was nice to have 3 people to ensure that everything could be put together properly. I am extremely happy with the result! And the cupboard contrasts nicely with the wall that has been treated with lime paint (color Oriental Ecru from LAB Paint).
