Description
We had an Artifort sofa from Kho Liang Ie that was very comfortable, but we missed armrests. It could also be a little bigger so that we could all fit on it. So we welded a frame with armrests and had the wood cut to size at TOSIZE.be at the right angle. Plates glued and screwed into the frame. Now we have a sofa with the same proportions as the original but without the disadvantages :)
Do it yourself: make a custom sofa
Have the panels cut off at the correct angle. 2 parts laid flat with the sloping sides up. Then the parts at the bottom were stuck together tightly with painter's tape. Then the open seam was filled with PU glue. 1 Plate raised so that the seam is pressed closed and the whole is secured with tension straps. Let this dry for a few hours. Then use a chisel to remove the glue residue that comes out of the seam and apply the lacquer. Then lower into a steel frame and secure with screws
