Description

Kef loudspeaker boxes (2x) Constructor Series Model CS9 according to original KEF construction drawings. I built these boxes in 1992 from chipboard, now made from {{tosize_get_product_url_by_sku('MDF Blank', '18 mm MDF', 'category')|raw} }.

Conversion for Kef loudspeaker boxes

I bought this KEF Constructor Series Model CS9 in 1992 as a construction kit.
I was faced with the choice of buying new speakers of the same quality or upgrade this KEF kit, it has become an upgrade. The 18 mm MDF that was used is made from a hard pressing, much better than the chipboard from 1992. The panels supplied, sawn at an angle of 45 degrees, fit perfectly. There is one adjustment in the construction of these boxes. To upgrade the sound of this kit, I replaced the capacitors of the changeover filter with higher quality ones than those delivered in 1992 and installed an extra high-frequency tweeter.
The result in processing the supplied panels and sound is perfect .
The next project (also speaker boxes) is already ready.
