Description of Victor

A sleek TV cabinet on which you can sit with a high column (3m) with cabinets. The idea was to make a cupboard that reaches up to the high ceiling, offers enough space for things and at the same time can (sometimes) be used for sitting. The IKEA metod cabinets are very useful for this. The TV hangs on a mitt that is placed 10.0 cm forward so that all cables can be placed behind it. Have all the wood sprayed at a professional furniture spray shop.

How I made this project

Have the planks cut to size (V313 with lacquer base) at TOSIZE.be. Everything thickened to the right thickness. Sanded the edges, assembled the bottom with dowels (no screws, completely demountable). IKEA Metod wall cabinets used with drawers (bottom). Built up step by step. Planks attached with large supports at the ends (was not actually necessary due to the stiffness of the planks). IKEA Besta upper cabinets used. All cables were hidden behind the cupboard and some extra USB chargers were also installed. Made skirting boards above and below. Take everything apart and have it sprayed (9017 and 9010).
