Description
Good furniture is important to be able to work comfortably with my producer/DJ equipment. The furniture is made without legs, so it is virtually floating.
DIY floating desk
I started with a construction drawing, in which I took a good look at where I wanted something and whether that also fit. When the wood arrived, I varnished it three times (transparent). It was spruce wood. I drilled round holes in the wood to make it easy for wires to pass through.
I then attached the beam and the brackets to the wall (first sawing off a small piece). Then it was the magazine's turn. A slat attached to the side, so that the top is firmly anchored. Then the brackets were attached again and the plank on top.
The wooden pine beams and slats were later sawn to size to the following dimensions:
- Spruce Planed Straight Corner 18x45 mm: 159.4 cm
li>Spruce Planed Round Corner 44x70 mm: 165.0 cm
Because I used brackets instead of a wooden stand, I had a little too much wood.
