Description of Jaco

We have restored the old shutters of a monumental farm. The old shutters were completely rotten and now the appearance is perfect again

How I made this project

First of all, we made a drawing to measure the shutters and in terms of sizes and material to get as close as possible to the original. After receiving the wood via the webshop, we first planed the edges of the wood to get nicer edge work. Then new hinges were made in the frame and old ones were removed. Shutters assembled by mounting 3 loose planks (planed) on 1 long plank. This twice for both hatches. Then sealed, primed and painted in the correct color.

Dimensions of my DIY project

248.0 cm x 93.0 cm
