Jurjen wanted a custom-built shelving unit for his living room. He quickly found his way to us, as how ideal is it to design your own shelving unit? According to his preferences, he chose MDF lacquer carrier and oak veneer drawers. With this white unit, he immediately modernized his living room. Check out his shelving unit here!

What did you make?

We built a shelving unit that spans the entire width of the living room. The unit includes a HiFi section where the TV receiver is placed. The speaker fabric allows the remote control’s IR signal to pass through. We also integrated a water vapor fireplace.

Large MDF Lacquer Carrier Wall Unit

After some sketches at home, we visited the showroom to finalize and order the idea.

When the unit was delivered, we assembled it over two afternoons. The shelving unit features LED spotlights, with the wires hidden in the shelves.

We ordered the unit in MDF lacquer carrier. The untreated MDF parts were primed, and then the unit and the doors were painted twice. The oak veneer drawers are finished with whitewash oil.
