How does the construction method of TOSIZE Furniture work?

Building a TOSIZE Furniture piece is easy. Watch the assembly video here to get a good understanding of how it works.

All shelves have pre-drilled holes for dowels and, if necessary, hinges and push-to-open pins. A manual with a step-by-step plan is included, as is an installation kit with all the parts you need. Also included is a personal construction drawing with numbers and letters corresponding to the numbered shelves. That way you know exactly where all parts will go!

The construction method is characterized by short panels that fit together through a mortise and tenon joint. The dowels and dowel holes are pre-drilled. Due to the 'stacking' method of the uprights and crossbars, it is possible that a gap of 0.5 - 1.0 millimetres may occur at the back panels and sides. Often, this is not noticeable, or you can easily fix it with filler or by painting over the material.

For the furniture panels, covering these gaps is a bit more difficult, but in most cases, this gap will not be disturbing.
