A headboard made of MDF Lakdrager
I made a headboard from separate parts of MDF Lakdrager.
You place this behind your bed and then serve as a bedside table.
Paint, secure and the headboard was ready!
Make your own headboard
I made a headboard from loose sheet material parts for the headboard of our bed. We opted for MDF Lakdrager, which meant that the sheet material was already delivered primed, very practical. The wood parts had also already been mitered. You can choose this yourself, but this is certainly not mandatory. I milled 2 rectangles from the largest part of the wood for the 'bedside tables'.
Then came the assembly: The connecting pieces were secured with wood glue. For strength, I made a frame from wooden beams. The bedside tables (internal) are secured between the beams with mounting kit.
Final size: What are the external dimensions?
Height: 110.0 cm
Width: 265.0 cm (front plate)
