Xander has personally crafted a unique tabletop for a coffee table using birch plywood. By using a saw, sander, and plenty of glue, he created a unique pattern for his tabletop. How? See it here!

Finishing the Tabletop
Once everything has dried properly, the base of your tabletop is already done! You're starting to get an idea of how your coffee table will look. Xander trimmed the edges straight, but if you like the relief pattern, you can leave it as is. It's still crucial to sand the tabletop thoroughly. This can be quite a task; Xander spent a couple of hours on it. Ensure the surface is smooth and free of splinters. For safety, you can also chamfer the edges with the sander. Finally, all you need to do is apply a coat of varnish, and voilà, your tabletop is ready! Now you just need to choose a nice set of legs 😉
